Hojas shawl
Discover this easily memorizable leaf shawl pattern that knits up quickly using worsted weight yarn and larger needles. Designed for knitters of all levels, this shawl features a stunning leaf motif that brings a touch of nature into your wardrobe. The border is beautifully crafted by slightly elongating the leaf pattern, adding an extra flair to your finished piece.
This shawl looks especially gorgeous when knit using hand-dyed yarn. For my own creation, I used reclaimed cotton yarn that I hand-dyed with natural black walnuts and Rit red dye, resulting in a vibrant and unique color palette that I absolutely adore.
The pattern primarily utilizes charts to guide you through the intricate lacework, making it an engaging project. It also incorporates yarnovers for increases at the beginning, middle, and ends of every other row, resulting in a traditional triangle shape that drapes elegantly over the shoulders.
**NOTE**: This pattern has not yet been test-knit. If you are interested in test-knitting it or if you encounter any errors or have questions while following the pattern, please feel free to send me a private message here on Ravelry. Your feedback is highly appreciated!
Thank you for your interest, and I hope you enjoy knitting this beautiful leaf shawl pattern as much as I enjoyed creating it. Happy knitting! - Britt
