This pattern requires approximately 120 yards of yarn in each of the two contrasting colors, ideally in DK (8ply) merino or blend yarn for optimal comfort and warmth. Be sure to have a 3mm and a 3.5mm circular needle with 40cm cables, along with 3.5mm DPNs or a long cable for the crown decreases, so you can achieve a seamless finish.
