Hope Springs Hat
My 2020 New Year's resolution was to teach myself the art of Fair Isle knitting. After crafting a few hats, I finally got the hang of it and ventured into designing my own creations just as the UK entered lockdown. I turned to my supportive Instagram followers for inspiration, and the recurring themes of "Hope" and "Spring" blossomed into my latest design, aptly named "Hope Springs."
This charming fair isle hat is crafted using the stunning Shetland Spindrift 4 ply yarn, known for its rich colors and warmth. The finished hat is designed to fit an average adult head, typically around 22 inches in circumference. If you want to customize the fit, simply adjust your needle size, or consider adding extra plain rows between the pattern blocks to achieve a longer length.
The "Hope Springs" hat incorporates a delightful palette of 9 different shades, showcasing vibrant colors reminiscent of spring blooms.
