**About the Design:** Discover our beautifully designed ladies’ mittens, available in a plethora of options for every knitter! Choose from two weights of yarn, 2 and 3 color Houndstooth patterns, and a variety of sizes to find the perfect fit. With options for two different thumb styles, you can customize your mittens to your liking. Our mittens are sampled in high-quality Cascade Yarns Cascade 220 and Cascade 128 Solids and Tweeds, ensuring that your creations will be both stylish and warm. Whether you're knitting them for yourself or as a thoughtful gift, these mittens are sure to delight!

For the worsted weight versions, we recommend using the following yarns that are perfect for the 2 and 3 color options. For the chunky weight variations:

2 Color Option - Use Cascade Yarns 128 Chunky Tweed, an exquisite blend of 90% Peruvian Highland wool and 10% Donegal, available in 128 yards per 100g hank. You will need 1 hank of #7625 Tan (A) paired with Cascade Yarns 128 Chunky Solid, also requiring 1 hank of #7628 Natural (B).

3 Color Option - For the vibrant and colorful version, gather 1 hank each of Cascade Yarns 128 Chunky Solid in the following shades: #9469 Hot Pink (A), #8559 Tangerine (B), and #8910 Citron (C). The combination of colors adds a fun punch to your mittens!

To complete your project, you will need US size 7 (4.5 mm), 8 (5 mm), and 9 (5.5 mm) double-pointed needles (dpns). Perfect for both experienced and novice knitters, these mittens are a great way to hone your skills!

Gauge: Achieve a standard gauge of 24 stitches and 24 rounds (or 19 stitches and 19 rounds) to equal 4 inches over the pattern using size 7 (9) needles or any size that meets your gauge requirement.

Substitute Yarn Weight: Worsted or chunky yarns will work beautifully for this pattern, allowing for flexibility based on your preferences.

Embrace the joy of knitting with this versatile mitten pattern—perfect for cozy days and chilly evenings! Happy Knitting! Warm regards, Dawn
