Adorable Knit Rabbit Pattern Inspired by My Beloved Rabbit, Pert

Many of my fellow knitters and friends have reached out with requests for a knitted replica of their cherished pets. Today, I am excited to share one of my most special designs with the knitting community!

This particular piece is especially close to my heart, as it is a detailed replica of my own beloved house rabbit, Pert. Sadly, Pert passed away last year at a respectable 10½ years of age. He brought so much joy and love into my life, and that’s why I couldn’t resist creating a knitted clone of him!

Pert was expertly crafted using Lana Grossa Ragazza Voi (10) in a beautiful brown mottled color, combined with Lana Grossa Mohairlana (13) in a rich black-brown to create a stunning texture that resembles a real rabbit's fur. The finished bunny measures 18 cm from his cute little nose to the tip of his tail. Of course, you have the freedom to go wild with your creativity—feel free to make up your own unique color scheme and create a one-of-a-kind rabbit that reflects your style!

This project is classified as easy to medium difficulty and involves a variety of techniques, including short row knitting, intarsia, and knitting in the round.
