This version utilizes US 5 needles and requires light fingering yarn, using approximately 444.5 yards and 96 grams. This alternative features a shallower spine depth of 18” and a slightly smaller wingspan measuring 56.” The gauge for this sock weight shawl is 21 stitches x 48 rows to 4 inches, providing an elegant and refined take on the original design.
