Iris Afghan - knitting pattern

Iris Afghan

$5.26

In the summer of 2016, my husband and I embarked on a long-awaited adventure to the beautiful regions of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island with our children. We have always dreamed of exploring the charm of Atlantic Canada, especially since my husband has a rich family history rooted in this lovely area. During our stay in Halifax, we were fortunate to enjoy the warm hospitality of his wonderful uncle and aunt, who graciously opened their home to us. His aunt, in particular, has a passion for purple irises, which inspired her to decorate her kitchen and dining room in delightful shades of this vibrant flower. To express our heartfelt gratitude for their generosity and kindness, I designed and handcrafted a stunning throw that beautifully captures the essence of her favorite flowers.
