You can also use any fingering weight yarn (with a gauge of 366-400 m/100 g) to create your own version of this cozy hat. For the project, you’ll need 1 skein (100 g) of Main Color (MC) and 1 skein (100 g) of Contrast Color (CC). The sample colors featured in our pattern images are Manhattan Beach Wave (MC) and Stone (CC).
Yardage: You will require approximately 320 yards / 290 meters of MC yarn and around 50 yards / 45 meters of CC yarn to complete this delightful beanie.
Needles: For this project, use 3.0 mm needles or any needles that help you achieve the correct gauge. Additionally, you will need another circular needle or a set of double-pointed needles (dpns) to finish the brim effectively.
