It's All In The Bag, Knitting Bag
I’m not apologizing for it, but I am finally embracing my passion for knitting bags! As the prices of beautiful knitted bags continue to rise, I realized it would be more rewarding (and cost-effective) to create my own. The design I envisioned involves felting, as this technique produces a dense fabric that results in a remarkably sturdy and functional bag. While rummaging through my stash of yarn, I discovered several stunning Cascade 220 colors that perfectly complement each other. After seeing the finished bag, I can't help but think of all the possible color combinations that would make unique and fashionable felted knitting bags. It seems I might just need to knit more than one!
This delightful felted knitting bag pattern is created by first knitting the bottom of the bag, followed by picking up stitches all along the edge to continue crafting the body of the bag in the round. This method is not only fun but allows for a seamless transition into the main design of the bag.
