Yardage: For the regular version, you will need approximately 100 (110, 120, 140) yards / 91 (101, 110, 128) meters, and for the slouchy version, about 120 (140, 150, 180) yards / 110 (128, 137, 165) meters of heavy Worsted or Aran weight yarn.

Gauge (after blocking): Achieve a gauge of 21 stitches and 28 rows = 10 cm/4 inches in the lace pattern using a larger needle (unstretched). In stockinette stitch, aim for 21 stitches and 26 rows = 10 cm/4 inches on the larger needle.
