Jaspers Beanie

Join us in celebrating the arrival of my second grandson, JASPER, with a delightful new knitting project! I'm excited to share a FREE pattern for this adorable beanie, which Freddy, my youngest son visiting from Australia, crafted as his very first knitting project. He did a fantastic job with the cheerful yellow hat, and I hope you agree! Teaching Freddy was a joy; we jumped right into the basics with no prior practice. I guided him through casting on stitches, creating a row of knit stitches, followed by a row of purl stitches, and just like that, he was hooked! Inspired by our time together, we quickly finished our matching hats the very next day. Freddy's tension was impeccable, resulting in beautifully crafted beanies. I even showed him how to execute the k2tog technique for the decrease rows, led him through the cast-off process, and wrapped up the project with a simple seam. This weekend, we had the chance to visit baby Jasper, who seemed to enjoy both hats we made, though he kept us guessing on which one he liked best! Introducing Jasper's Beanie, a versatile project that can be knit in three sizes: Small (0-1 month), Medium (1-6 months), and Large (6-12 months). This beanie is worked flat on 4 mm needles using any double knitting (DK) yarn of your choice, making it a fun and accessible project for knitters of all levels. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity! Grab your FREE download of Jasper’s Beanie knitting pattern today and spread the word to all your knitting friends. Let's share the joy of knitting this charming hat together!
