Yarn Information
Purple & Teal Blanket (as seen in the photos): This blanket was knit to a total of 720 stitches, utilizing 10 ounces of a multi-colored yarn, 16 ounces of a vibrant teal green, and 7 ounces of a lovely purple. The finished size, after blocking, was approximately 56 inches in diameter, giving it an ample size for any baby. Be aware that the blanket may grow a bit during the blocking process!
Alternative Size: For those looking to create a smaller blanket, I also knitted a version with 540 stitches (model not shown), using 21 ounces of a single color yarn. This smaller blanket had a finished diameter of approximately 40 inches, making it ideal for infants.
With this versatile blanket pattern, you can choose the size and colors that best fit your style and needs. Create a cherished keepsake that will be loved for years to come. Happy knitting!
