Jorjamae Shawl Pattern is a beautifully designed rectangular sampler shawl created in memory of my beloved mother, who passed away in 2014. The Jorjamae pattern offers two unique versions to suit your knitting preferences and skill levels.

Version 1: This version involves knitting flat in two identical halves, utilizing 5 distinct and lovely stitch patterns. The two halves are then seamlessly stitched together in the center using a 3-needle bind-off technique. This version requires 5 skeins of Malabrigo Silky Merino in colorway Madre Perla, #425, which totals approximately 750 yards.

Version 2: For those looking for a more streamlined approach, this version is knit flat in one continuous piece using the same 5 delightful stitch patterns. This version calls for 7 skeins of Malabrigo Silky Merino in the rich hue Bobby Blue, #27, totaling about 1050 yards.

Gauge: Achieve a stylish and comfortable fit with a gauge of 5 stitches per inch in the Flower Lace stitch, using US 7 (4.5mm) needles or any size needed to obtain the correct gauge.
