Finished Size:
The pullover comes in a variety of sizes to suit different body types, with a chest circumference measuring 32(36, 40, 44, 48, 52) inches and lengths ranging from 14(14.5, 15, 16, 16.5, 17) inches. This versatile sizing ensures a comfortable fit for everyone!
Yarn: For the best results, we recommend using The Whimsical Ewe Delightful Sock yarn, which is composed of 75% Superwash Merino wool and 25% Nylon (437 yards/100g). You will need 2(2, 3, 3, 3, 4) skeins of the main color as shown in our example, along with 1 skein of a contrasting color. If you opt for long sleeves, please be aware that additional main color yarn may be required. The sample uses Sundial as the contrast (at the top) and Raven for the main color. For reference, the 44” bust sample with a 16” body used approximately 80g of the contrast color and 185g of the main color yarn.
Needles:
To begin your knitting project, you will need a US #4/3.5mm circular needle, at least 32 inches long—larger sizes might prefer to use a longer needle for ease of knitting. Additionally, a set of US #4/3.5mm double-pointed needles or your preferred method for knitting small circumferences in the round will be necessary.
Note: Always choose a needle size that allows you to achieve the correct gauge.
Gauge: The ideal gauge for this pullover is 24 stitches and 32 rows per 4 inches, worked in wet blocked stockinette stitch and knitted in the round. Keep in mind that gauge can vary from one knitter to another, so it's essential to check your gauge and make adjustments as needed to ensure a perfect fit.
