As a dedicated public health worker whose dad battled COVID-19 in March 2020, I understand the overwhelming emotions this novel virus has instilled in us all. During my dad's hospital stay, his Emergency Medicine Physician crafted a touching piece about his experience, which I often revisit for a reminder of the compassionate individuals working tirelessly to support us through this crisis. Inspired by this experience, I wanted to do something special for her—a way to express gratitude for the incredible efforts of essential workers. That’s how I came up with the unique idea to design a pair of eye-catching socks (especially for a stranger) to help kick COVID-19 to the curb!
