Skills Needed: This pattern is perfect for beginners and requires only basic knitting skills: the ability to knit, purl, and perform color changes. You'll easily master these techniques as you create your stunning piece.

Finished Measurements: Once completed, your project will have a center depth of 22 ½" / 57 cm and an impressive windspun measurement of 85 ¾" / 218 cm, making it a versatile addition to your knitting collection.

Materials: For this project, you will need the following yarn:

  • C1: Hedgehog Fibres Merino Lace - a luxurious lace weight yarn (100 g / 1312 yards / 1200 meters) made from 100% merino wool in the colorway Plump.
  • C2: Hedgehog Fibres Alpaca Bouclé - another exquisite lace weight yarn (100 g / 678 yards / 620 meters) composed of 66% alpaca and 34% silk in the colorway A Day In May.

For reference, the sample used approximately:

  • C1: 84 g / 1102 yards / 1008 m (equivalent to 551 yards / 504 m when holding 2 strands together)
  • C2: 77 g / 522 yards / 478 m (yielding 261 yards / 239 m when held as two strands)
