I crafted my own purse using a mysterious yarn from the bottom of my stash drawer (the label has long been lost!), so I've suggested an alternative yarn in the materials list to help guide you.

This adorable knitted purse requires approximately 1.3 oz (40g) of DK yarn. Once completed (excluding the ears and paws), my finished Kittyknit measures approximately 4 inches by 4½ inches (10 cm by 11.5 cm). However, the pattern is versatile and can be easily adapted to accommodate other thicknesses of yarn, depending on your desired size.
