Kolka
Inspired by the exquisite stranded colorwork techniques of Swedish Bohus knitting, this soft merino slouch hat offers both warmth and style, making it the perfect accessory for chilly days. To enhance the Baltic theme, I’ve incorporated the striking Latvian braid cast-on method, which creates a stunning zigzag brim that beautifully frames the hat. This unique cast-on technique is thoroughly explained in the pattern, ensuring that knitters of all skill levels can achieve a professional finish. For this hat, I selected four gorgeous shades from Milla Mia’s Naturally Soft Merino yarn collection, known for its exceptional softness and comfort.
