This is an homage to everything “Dijon”. The mustard colour is vibrant and intense, yet subdued – representing a richness that's perfect for enhancing your seasonal wardrobe. It evokes memories of my enchanting visit to Dijon, France, with its charming cobblestone streets and picturesque homes adorned with colourful window boxes. And let’s not forget the delectable food!

Interestingly, many may not know that mustard seed grown in Canada is exported to France, processed into high-quality Dijon mustard, and then imported back into Canada as a French product. Who would have thought such a delicious connection existed!

The La Dijonnaise pullover knitting pattern features beautifully winding cables at the hem, cuff, and neckline, creating an elegant finish. This design is tailored with subtle A-line shaping, a modified drop shoulder, and a flattering sweetheart neckline, all contributing to a more fitted silhouette that drapes beautifully over the body.

Achieving a consistent look and fit across all nine sizes was essential in developing this #sizeinclusive design. We carefully made slight modifications in both the shaping and construction techniques. Notably, the initial sleeve cap for sizes 5 – 9 is worked with short rows for precision.

For those keen on fitting, we suggest an approximate positive ease of 4-5”/10-12.5 cm at the bust and around 8”/20 cm at the hips. This thoughtful ease makes the La Dijonnaise pullover not only stylish but comfortable, ensuring that it becomes a staple in your wardrobe.
