LAMBS & LULLABIES pram or cot cover knitting pattern by Georgina Manvell

This beautiful pram/basket cover measures approximately 56 x 40 cm when completed with DK yarn. It’s not only stylish but can also be easily adapted to fit a cot by simply widening the border. One of the unique features of this design is its Fair Isle patterned reverse side, adding an extra layer of charm and versatility.

This lovely knitting pattern was masterfully designed by Georgina Manvell and was first published in Home & Country magazine back in June 1984. The cover was also showcased at the WI Life & Leisure Exhibition at Olympia in the same year, under the captivating article titled "OF LAMBS AND LULLABIES." The design holds a special place in the hearts of many and has now received a modern refresh.

We believe this delightful cover truly deserves a fresh look, which is why we utilized the same beloved images from the original pattern but presented them in a new and exciting format. Doesn’t it look great? Rest assured, this is the exact same pattern that was featured in Home & Country magazine.
