The finished piece measures approximately 24 x 24 cm (9.4 x 9.4 inches), making it an ideal decorative item or a practical square for various craft projects. For this project, you'll need Drops Paris yarn, specifically one skein of Red (12) (Yarn A) and one skein of Green (43) (Yarn B), each boasting a yardage of 75 m/50 g (82 yds/1.7 oz).
To knit this enchanting design, you’ll require 4 mm (US 6) needles at least 25 cm (10 inches) in length, along with a tapestry needle to weave in your ends. The gauge for this pattern is 21 stitches and 36 rows to 10 cm (4 inches), measured in the background pattern stitch after blocking. While achieving gauge is helpful, it is not crucial for successfully completing this project.
