Hat Sizes
- Toddler - Head size: 17.5 inches (45 cm)
- Child/Adult Small - Head size: 19.5 inches (50 cm)
- Adult Large - Head size: 22 inches (56 cm)
Gauge and Yarn Information
GAUGE: Achieve a gauge of 5 stitches x 10 rows = 2 inches / 5 cm stockinette stitch using US 10.75 (7 mm) knitting needles, blocked, with Drops Andes.
YARN: This pattern uses BULKY WEIGHT yarn—specifically, Drops Andes, which is made of 65% wool and 35% alpaca. Each 100g skein provides 98 yards (90 meters) of cozy softness, perfect for keeping warm during colder months.
Needle Sizes & Notions
NEEDLE SIZES: For this project, you will need a pair of US 10.75-7mm 16 inch/40cm circular needles as well as a US 13 - 9 mm 16 inch/40 cm circular needle for the finishing touches.
NOTIONS REQUIRED: Gather your materials, including 4 stitch markers, a starter marker, and a tapestry needle to weave in those loose ends once you're finished.
