For this cozy knitted hat, you will need 2 x 7-10g mini skeins of sport weight merino in your choice of coordinating solid colors. Our sample uses Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport, but feel free to explore your own color palette! Additionally, you’ll need a color-matched 50g skein of hand-dyed Peter Rabbit angora by Fleece Artist. If you're feeling adventurous, a kid mohair substitute can also work beautifully—just remember to conduct your own gauge experiments for the best results. For this project, don’t forget to have some 3mm and 4mm knitting needles handy as well!
