Lilacs at Night Socks

$6.00

**About the Design: ** This stunning sock design draws inspiration from “Lilac Time,” a beautiful lace pattern featured in Marianne Kinzel’s acclaimed book, Second Book of Modern Lace Knitting. Upon examining the intricate lace, I envisioned a vibrant colorwork interpretation. To create a striking contrast, I selected a rich dark navy as the main color (MC), which beautifully highlights the lovely shades of lilac. The natural white serves as the secondary main color (MC) to evoke the essence of Daytime Lilacs.

These cozy, soft socks are perfect for warding off winter's chill while bringing warm memories of Spring into your knitting routine! Each stitch is designed for comfort and style, making them an ideal gift or a delightful treat for yourself.

For this captivating project, you’ll need Brown Sheep Nature Spun Worsted, a high-quality yarn made from 100% wool. Each pull skein contains 245 yards (3.5 oz). You will require 1 skein each of #119 Bulldog Blue or #730 Natural for the MC, as well as N64 Platte River Blue (CC1), N66 Mill Blue (CC2), and N80 Mountain Purple (CC3). Note: using 2 skeins of **MC** will allow you to knit 2 pairs of these exquisite socks.

Gauge: Achieve a gauge of 28 stitches and 34 rounds (rnds) per 4 inches (10 cm) using size 2 needles or any size that gives you the correct gauge. Remember: to save time in your knitting project, always take the time to check your gauge before you start!

Get ready to express your creativity and enjoy the art of knitting with this delightful pattern. Happy Knitting! - Dawn
