Directions are provided for knitting the Little Bear ‘Elf Hat’ either ‘in the round’ using double pointed knitting needles or ‘back & forth’ with 2 single pointed needles, allowing you the flexibility to choose your preferred method. For the best results and to achieve the lovely fulled, ‘felted’ appearance, we highly recommend using the original Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift yarn. Note that the hand ‘fulling’ process will cause the hat to shrink slightly, and this has been designed for in the original specifications.
