Gauge for Size 6 Months-2: 28 stitches and 38 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch on US 3 / 3.25 mm needles or the needle size required to achieve the specified gauge.

Gauge for Size 2-14: 24 stitches and 30 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch on US 6 / 4 mm needles, or the size necessary to reach the desired gauge.

For this design, I found that using a thicker yarn knit at a tight gauge really enhances the intricate leaf and cable motif at the yoke, making it pop beautifully. If you tend to knit loosely, consider substituting a thinner yarn, such as sport weight for the larger sizes and a fingering weight for the smallest sizes.
