Introducing Wally, the adorable little whale hat knitting pattern!
This delightful project is another fun design I’ve decided to share. Knit it up before my last surgery for a cozy accessory that is both charming and practical.

This pattern features a simple yet elegant single-color ribbing at the base, followed by an enchanting whale motif surrounded by a delightful wave-like border. And can you guess what makes Wally even more special? He has a cute little water fountain! :)

The top of the hat incorporates an easy, single-color swirl-like decrease, making it a fantastic choice for knitting beginners and seasoned crafters alike. Whether you’re just starting your knitting journey or looking for a relaxing project, this pattern is sure to bring joy.

For the yarn, I used soft Acrylic yarn, which is perfect for warmth and comfort, but feel free to experiment with other 4 to 5-ply yarns, such as sock or Merino wool. Keep in mind that different yarn types may slightly alter the final sizing of the hat.

Happy knitting with Wally the whale! I hope you find joy in creating this delightful design. And as a note of personal update, I’ll be heading to Bad Neustadt for another appointment on Monday. Send some positive vibes for my hand and elbow—let’s hope this endless elbow saga comes to a close soon!
Thank you for all your support, good wishes, and crossed fingers. You’re truly wonderful!
