Loop
Introducing the Loop Shawl, a vibrant and delightful knitting project that’s perfect for welcoming the cozy days of Autumn! This pattern is designed to grow from the top, gracefully transitioning into a crescent shape, and finishing off with a luxurious garter stitch and i-cord bind-off. You'll love how only one color of yarn is used at a time, with a contrasting yarn elegantly carried up the side, seamlessly blending into the shawl's beautiful edge.
Similar to the popular Dot Shawl, my goal with the Loop Shawl was to creatively utilize variegated yarns, allowing their stunning colors to shine without overpowering the overall design. This approach emphasizes the beauty of the yarn while maintaining a harmonious aesthetic.
The Loop Shawl knitting kit can be purchased in [kit form here][4], making it an easy choice for knitters of all levels who want to take on this charming project. Whether you aim for the full-sized shawl or a sweeter shawlette, you’ll find the pattern tailored to suit your needs, with yarn amounts clearly specified in parentheses.
Pattern Requirements:
To get started, you’ll need a 1 US 6 (4mm) needle and 1 US 4 or 5 circular needle that is 24" or longer. (Note: The circular needle is used solely to accommodate the number of stitches; the project is not worked in the round.)
