Recommended Materials: For this project, we recommend using Garnstudio Drops Flora, which is a high-quality fingering yarn (50 g/1.8 oz, 210 m/230 yd, 75% wool/25% polyamide). You will need approximately 50 grams (S), 55 grams (M), or 60 grams (L) of the main color (07 Beige - MC) and about 13 grams (S), 15 grams (M), or 17 grams (L) of the contrast color (19 Coral - CC). To knit these wonderful socks, you'll need a 2.5 mm US 1 80 cm (32”) circular needle or a longer one, and remember to adjust your needle size if necessary to achieve the correct gauge. Additional supplies include a stitch marker for marking the beginning of the round (BOR), a tapestry needle for weaving in ends, and scissors.
Gauge: Achieve a gauge of 30 stitches and 41 rounds = 10 cm (4”) in stockinette stitch to ensure a perfect fit for your socks.
Pattern Notes: These delightful socks are worked from the toe-up, utilizing the magic loop technique. If you prefer classic knitting methods, you can also use double-pointed needles. For the heel, we utilized the short rows technique, but you may opt for any heel method you find comfortable. Plus, feel free to knit them two at a time for added efficiency!
