The socks are knitted from the cuff to the toe using the popular magic loop technique, which is ideal for working in the round and ensures a seamless result. Sizes: Available in S (44 sts), M (48 sts), and L (52 sts), these socks are designed to fit foot circumferences of 20.5 cm (8”), 21.5 cm (8.5”), and 23 cm (9.1”), making them a versatile addition to your sock collection.
Materials: For this project, you will need Borgo de’ Pazzi Amore 240 (50 g/1.7 oz, 240 m/262 yds, made from 70% recycled merino wool, 25% polyamide, 2% viscose, and 1% polyester). Approximately 50 grams (240 meters) of sport yarn will be required. If you choose Drops Lima, a DK weight yarn, be sure to double the amount to 100 grams (200 meters). You will also need a 3.5 mm (US 4) 80 cm (32”) or longer circular needle. Adjust your needle size as necessary to achieve the correct gauge and ensure a perfect fit for your socks.
Gauge: The gauge for this pattern is 23 sts and 30 rnds = 10 cm (4”) in the stitch pattern when worked in the round. This gauge is essential for achieving the desired size and texture of the finished socks.
