Lucky Leaf Sock

$3.23

Discover our beautiful leaf motif socks—perfect for enhancing your knitting collection! These delightful top-down socks are not only cozy but also make one of the most treasured gifts you can share with friends and loved ones. Hand-knit socks carry a special charm that store-bought options simply can’t match, making them the ideal present for any occasion.

In this detailed pattern, you'll find instructions for using the Magic Loop technique, but feel free to use any method you prefer for knitting in the round, such as Double Pointed Needles (DPN), traditional Circulars, or Magic Loop. The choice is yours, fun and flexibility!

For this project, we recommend using high-quality yarn like Drops Fable, a delightful fingering weight yarn that consists of 75% wool and 25% polyamide. Each 50g skein offers 205m of beautiful texture, ensuring your socks are snug and durable. Alternatively, you can opt for Malabrigo Sock, which also features a fantastic blend of 75% wool and 25% polyamide, available in a larger 100g skein with an impressive 402 meters of yardage.

To achieve the best results, use HiyaHiya 2.5mm, 80cm fixed circular needles. These needles are incredibly smooth and provide the flexibility you need when knitting in the round, allowing your knitting process to be as enjoyable as possible.

Your gauge should be 32 stitches and 44 rows in stockinette stitches, which can be achieved with the 2.5 mm needles over a 4x4 inches (10cm x 10cm) swatch for consistency in your project. The finished foot circumference for your lovely socks will measure 8" (20cm) or 8.5" (22cm), accommodating a variety of sizes. The finished length is adjustable to fit your preferences and comfort.
