Marled Checks

Marled Checks is my unique interpretation of Dave Chihuly’s stunning glass sculpture featured in Atlantis hotel, Dubai. This captivating beanie is crafted in the round using two light-fingering (super fine) weight yarns held together, creating a beautiful sport weight yarn that gives the piece an exquisite ombre aesthetic. I achieved the perfect color combination using the Yarn Bee Pigment + Fiber yarn set, known for its vibrant hues and softness. Feel free to experiment with different color combinations to create your own gradient effect! For a more personalized touch, you can select a base color and change the second color each time you create a new beanie. This pattern is not only visually appealing but also an excellent stash buster, making it a perfect project for those looking to use up leftover yarn.
