Starting with a single slip stitch, this pattern gradually increases to an impressive number of stitches during the border, reaching a remarkable total of 1541 stitches! Each step of the shawl is carefully documented in a fully written format spanning pages 1-8, with optional charts provided at the end of the file on pages 9-16. This comprehensive pattern ensures that knitting enthusiasts of all skill levels can follow along with ease.

Yarn in photos: The featured shawl is crafted using Fyberspates, Vivacious 4ply, made from 100% Merino wool (365m/100g). For this project, you will need 3 skeins of the delicate LC shade: Blush (totaling 1040m) and 3 skeins of the striking DC shade: Verdigris (totaling 990m).
Notes on yardage: In testing the pattern, my dedicated test knitter, Ann Batcheller, reported using 991.5m for the Light Color (LC) and 865m for the Dark Color (DC), which is slightly less than the sample amounts I used. Therefore, I highly encourage you to complete a swatch before starting to ensure you have the right yardage for your own project!
