Meredith's Hat

Size: This hat is crafted in one size, designed to fit a medium adult head with a circumference of 58 - 60cm (approximately 23 - 23.5 inches). It’s an ideal size for adults looking for a comfortable and snug fit.
Yarn: For this pattern, I recommend using three colors of 8 ply/DK/light weight merino wool, specifically in 50gm balls. I often choose high-quality yarns like Debbie Bliss Rialto DK or Katia Merino 100%. Each ball of yarn typically contains a length of about 102 - 103 metres (or 111 - 114 yards), ensuring plenty of material for this delightful project.
Suggested Needles: To create Meredith's Hat, you will need to use 3.25mm (US 3) double-pointed needles (DPNs) or a 3.25mm (US 3) circular needle for casting on and knitting the ribbing. For the body of the hat, a 4mm (US 6) circular needle is recommended, and you will switch to 4mm (US 6) DPNs for the crown shaping.
