Choose from four unique blanket styles: round or square with adorable frilly edges, or opt for round or square designs with classy corded edges. To add a personal touch, select from five enchanting character options: a playful cat, a fluffy lamb, a cuddly polar bear, a charming koala, or a sweet doll. You can also choose between a soft collar or convenient straps to enhance your creation. With these myriad options, you have the freedom to design your very own version of Midi Cuddles that will surely bring comfort and joy!
Our Midi Cuddles blankets are thoughtfully crafted using Aran or Worsted Weight yarn, but don't worry if you prefer a lighter option! The pattern can be easily adapted for double knit yarn as well. Inside the pattern, we've included helpful notes with our recommended needle sizes to ensure a smooth knitting experience. I’ve tested various yarn materials including cotton, wool, and acrylic, and each one has proven to work beautifully. That said, cotton yarn is particularly lovely for little ones during teething stages, as it’s soft and absorbent—perfect for mopping up dribbles!
For added safety, all eyes are skillfully embroidered, and noses are intricately knitted, ensuring every character is both cute and cuddly. All my patterns are designed to be knitted flat and thoughtfully assembled. Each pattern package includes detailed step-by-step instructions accompanied by plenty of clear, helpful photos to guide you through the knitting process.
