Midnight on Kobol
Can anyone guess the reference for the name of this stunning shawl? Sarah definitely 'geeked out' on this one! Just kidding!
This is the perfect shawl design for those 2 skeins in your stash that have been waiting to be paired together! Whether you have two unique colorways that contrast beautifully or two harmonious shades that complement each other just right, this shawl will bring them to life. The design features a tip-to-tip sideways triangle shape, crafted with tons of delightful garter micro stripes interspersed with three breathtaking lace panels that will showcase your yarn exquisitely. This pattern is ideal for adventurous beginners. While the lace sections are not the simplest, they do require some focused attention, ensuring your knitting experience is engaging and far from boring!
We had the immense pleasure of working with an incredible new Indie Dyer, Things Created Equal, and we couldn't have enjoyed knitting with her luxurious yarn more! We highly encourage you to check out her beautiful creations and support her work!
For this shawl, you will need knitting needles in size 3.75mm (US5) and an approximate 36" cord. The stitch count will increase throughout the pattern and then decrease again, so you won’t need a super long cord, making it easy to manage your project as you go.
We truly hope you enjoy this knitting project as much as we did! Happy knitting, and may your needles click away as you create something beautiful!
