Yarn Details
For this beautiful sweater, we recommend using Blue Sky Alpaca Melange, which boasts 110 yards (100 meters) per hank. You will need 7 (7, 9, 10, 12, 13, or 15) hanks in the luxurious 100% Baby Alpaca fiber, specifically in the vibrant colorway Salsa. This yarn offers unmatched softness and warmth, making it ideal for cozy garments.

Recommended Needles
To create your sweater, gather the following tools: 24” circular needles in sizes 2.75 mm (#2) and 3.25 mm (#3), along with 2.75 mm (#2) and 3.25 mm (#3) double-pointed needles (dpns). These needle sizes are essential for achieving the perfect stitch tension, ensuring your project turns out beautifully.

Gauge Information
For this pattern, the gauge is 5.5 stitches and 8 rows per inch in stockinette stitch (unblocked). Correct gauge is crucial for your sweater to fit correctly, so be sure to check it before starting.

Errata Notification for Size XL
Please note an important correction for size XL found on page 17 of the pattern book:

In the section for Beginning Bust Ribbing,
You will have 111 stitches for the front after completing your ribbing, not 113.

For Shaping the Neck,
The next round should read: Slip marker (sm), knit to the marker before ribbing, slip marker, knit 19 stitches, bind off 61 stitches in pattern, knit 19 stitches to the end of ribbing, slip marker, and knit to the end of round.

This correction is significant, as the original pattern inaccurately instructs you to bind off 63 stitches instead. Following the updated instruction will ensure your garment fits perfectly.
