Reminiscing about those delightful days filled with big buckets of fragrant ‘perfume’ created from beach roses and the salty ocean waves, I designed this enchanting garter stitch crescent-shaped shawlette. The design features a unique flower and wave lace pattern along with short rows that beautifully create the crescent shape, reminiscent of the gentle coastal breezes. This year, to relive those cherished memories, I took my family to visit my mom, Mimi, during our summer vacation and decided to create this stunning piece in hopes of carrying the essence of the beach into the cold of winter.
