Introducing the Mirbelia Shawl, a stunning classic triangle shawl that's perfect for knitters of all skill levels. This exquisite shawl is knitted in delicate lace weight yarn, although fingering weight yarn is also an excellent choice for this versatile pattern. The Mirbelia Shawl is skillfully crafted in one continuous piece from the top down, allowing you to create a beautiful accessory to elevate any outfit.
Size: After blocking, the Mirbelia Shawl measures approximately 69.3” wingspan and 32.3” depth (176 cm wingspan, 82 cm depth). Please note that the final measurements may vary based on your selected yarn, needle size, personal gauge, and the number of times you choose to repeat the pattern.
Materials and Tools Needed:
Yarn: For the Mirbelia Shawl, we recommend using Lotus Yarns Tibetan Cloud, a luxurious yarn made from 100% yak fibers. You will need one skein of this premium yarn in the beautiful Lavender colour (14), which boasts a generous 450m (492yds) per 50g skein.
Needles: You will require US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles, with a length of either 32” (80 cm) or 40” (100 cm) to comfortably accommodate your project as it expands during knitting.
