Finished Size: 20” around, stretches to 25”, and stands 8” tall. This hat is easily adjustable to fit your preferred style and comfort.
Yarn: For this project, we recommend using Chaos Fiber Co. Freckles Sock Tonal, which is composed of 85% Superwash Merino and 15% Donegal Nep, offering a total of 430 yards per 100 grams. The sample hat was beautifully knit in the color Lavender Mist, utilizing approximately 145 yards of yarn.
Needles: You will need a set of 5 double-pointed needles or 16” circular needles in size 3 US (3.25 mm). Be sure to use the needle size that helps you achieve the correct gauge for a perfect fit.
Gauge: The pattern gauge is 24 stitches and 32 rows per 4” in blocked stockinette when knit in the round. Be sure to check your gauge before starting to ensure your hat turns out the right size!
