It represents a journey in the making, inspired by my travels at sea.

The blanket measures an impressive 86 cm (34 in) x 105 cm (41½ in) when blocked, providing ample coverage for snuggling and warmth. Crafted from Paintbox Yarns Baby DK Prints 5 Ball Value Pack in the delightful Lavender Garden - Dotty (04), it features a luscious texture that is gentle on your baby's skin. With a total of 913.16 yards / 835 meters of yarn featured, this blanket is designed to combine seamlessly with many of my other unique designs.

For this stunning project, I used a beautiful hand-dyed yarn, made from 100% superwash Merino in a DK weight. This yarn comes in 200 meters / 219 yards per 100-gram hank. Please note that the required yarn amount is approximately 500 grams, which is equivalent to 1000 meters or 1095 yards, for the blanket pictured. Be sure to plan accordingly, as you may need to purchase an extra hank of yarn if you decide to modify the length of your blanket.
