Moonlight bag

$2.54

Introducing the Moonlight Bag—a simple, fun, and incredibly useful knitting project that features an intriguing construction technique. This one-piece pattern begins at the back/flap, which is crafted as a large circle. As you knit, continue until you achieve the desired width, then bind off the upper stitches. The bag is further developed by working back and forth on your needles. Initially, you'll knit without any decreases or increases to form the bag's volume, and eventually start decreasing in line with the back section to achieve a lovely semicircular shape. The Moonlight Bag is not only quick to knit but also enjoyable! You might find that felting takes longer than the actual knitting itself. Plus, the only sewing required is for the button—making it an excellent project for knitters of all levels! Materials Needed:
Yarn:
- 600 m (656 yards) of bulky yarn, 100% wool (Main Color - MC)
- 137 m (150 yards) of bulky yarn, 100% wool (Contrast Color - CC)

Needles:
- US 9/5.5 mm double-pointed needles (DPN) and/or circular needle, or size needed to obtain correct gauge (gauge is not critical for this project).

Notions:
- 8 stitch markers
- 1 button (we recommend purchasing after felting for the best match!)
- 1 needle for sewing on the button
