Nancy Drew's Mystery Socks

As a child, I absolutely loved reading and made the weekly trek to Taylor Memorial Library to dive into my favorite books! While my brothers enjoyed the adventurous escapades of The Hardy Boys, I found myself completely absorbed in the captivating world of the Nancy Drew Mystery Series. One of my favorites, The Secret of the Old Lace, is the 59th book in that beloved series, and it truly sparked my imagination! What about you? What books did you cherish during your childhood? When I began designing this sock pattern, I wanted to capture that sense of mystery and nostalgia, just like my cherished book adventures. This sock design is the fourth in my Recollections of Childhood series, and I'm having an absolute blast creating it! These socks are knit from cuff to toe using a delightful and easily memorized lace stitch, making it enjoyable for knitters of all skill levels. Plus, this pattern is fabulous because it isn’t a "yarn hog." In fact, I was able to create both an adult-sized pair and a child-sized pair using just three skeins of Panda Wool!
