Nicely Twisted Mitts

$2.40

Discover the perfect accessory to complement your Nicely Twisted Hat pattern with these stylish knitted mitts! Designed to be worked in the round from the cuff upwards, this pattern is ideal for both beginners and experienced knitters alike. You can easily knit these mitts using the Magic Loop method or opt for two circular needles, depending on your preference. Whether you’re a right-handed or left-handed knitter, I’ve included links to helpful video tutorials and detailed instructions to guide you through the process of creating beautiful cables.

**Yarn Information:** For the sample mitts, I used Knit Picks City Tweed DK, which offers a lovely texture and warmth. The yarn specifications are 123 yards per 50 grams. For sizes S/M, you will need approximately 42 grams of yarn, while the L/XL will require about 46 grams.

**Needle and Notions:** Use size US 6 (4.0 mm) needles on a 40" circular to achieve the best results. You'll also need a tapestry needle, a cable needle, and some stitch markers to help keep your project organized.

**Sizes Available:** The pattern is available in two sizes: Adult S/M (fits hands 7.75-8 inches around) and L/XL (fits hands 8.5-9 inches around). This versatility ensures a comfortable fit for a wide range of hand sizes!

**Gauge:** To ensure your mitts turn out just right, aim for a gauge of 21 stitches and 33 rows per 4 inches in stockinette stitch. This will help you achieve a professional finish with the right drape in your mitts.

With its unique design and practical fit, this mitt pattern is an excellent choice for any knitting enthusiast looking to enhance their accessory collection. Don’t forget to check out our other free and paid knitting patterns to find more projects that inspire you!
