Our inaugural pattern draws inspiration from a stunning historic home located directly across from the first Baptist Church, established in 1775. This regal residence, built in 1903, boasts a captivating third-floor turret that offers breathtaking views of picturesque Stonington Harbor. The current owners are meticulously restoring the property, beginning with exquisite herringbone brickwork on the new chimney that has recently been installed. This sock pattern ingeniously combines two distinct designs, reflecting the rich colors and textures inspired by aged bricks and the elegant old stones found in the house's foundation, which were thoughtfully reclaimed from a nearby town. Experience the charm of Stonington in your knitting with this beautiful pattern!
