MATERIALS: You'll need 2 skeins of Manos Del Uruguay Silk Blend DK (DK weight, consisting of 70% Extra Fine Merino and 30% Silk, with 50g/135m/148yds per skein) in the beautiful shade Orinoco (2444).
For knitting in the round, use a 3.5mm (UK 10-9/US 4) circular needle, 80cm long. Alternatively, if you prefer to knit flat, a pair of 3.5mm (UK 10-9/US 4) needles will also suffice. Don't forget to have a stitch marker on hand to help navigate your lace pattern.
TENSION: Achieve a slightly open texture with a tension of 24 stitches and 38 rounds to measure 10x10cm (4x4in) over the pattern using 3.5mm (UK 6/US 8) needles.
