**Introducing the Mystery Sock pattern from the September 2013 Sockdown event in the Sock Knitters Anonymous (SKA) group, also known as the SKA MOCK. This exciting sock pattern is part of the Claire Ellen Sock Club, which offers exclusive patterns and knitting experiences. For those interested, membership details can be found [here][1]. However, don’t worry—joining the club is NOT a requirement to knit this fabulous sock. This delightful pattern is available for FREE to everyone who wishes to take on the challenge.

The pattern will be released in a series of installments over four Sundays in September:
- **1 Sept:** Cuff
- **8 Sept:** Leg
- **15 Sept:** Heel Flap, Heel Turn & Gusset
- **22 Sept:** Foot & Toe

**Pattern Notes & Notions:** This Mystery Sock pattern is specifically designed to showcase the beauty of wildly variegated yarns with strong color contrasts. The knitting techniques used in this pattern include moss stitch and simple ribbing sections, making it accessible for knitters of all skill levels. The bold lines and textures provide a perfect canvas for your wild yarn colors to shine through, ensuring that each pair of socks you create will be a unique masterpiece.

The pattern includes both charts and written instructions for every step, making it easy to follow along. To ensure a smooth knitting experience, we recommend having a stitch marker on hand to identify the beginning of your round, as well as a tapestry needle for the Kitchener stitch method used to finish off the toe. While those are the primary tools you will need, feel free to gather any additional notions that inspire your creativity!

Join the fun and embrace the world of sock knitting with this engaging Mystery Sock pattern. Perfect for both beginner and experienced knitters, this project is an excellent way to enhance your skills and create something beautiful. Start your sock-knitting journey today and share your creations with the knitting community!
