Panda
Panda Toy Knitting Pattern: Create your very own adorable Panda doll with our stylish and easy-to-follow knitting pattern! This delightful Panda stands approximately 6.3 inches (or 16 cm) tall, making it the perfect companion for kids and a charming addition to any toy collection.
This Panda toy is knitted in the round, and we recommend this pattern for Advanced Beginner Knitters looking to expand their skills. If you're familiar with basic knitting techniques and want to create a charming stuffed animal, this pattern is perfect for you!
Materials Needed:
- 4 double-pointed needles in a size suitable for the yarn weight you are using. For best results, I recommend using needles that are a size or two smaller than the yarn label suggests to create a firm, sturdy fabric. I personally used needles size US 4 (3.5 mm).
- White and black colored yarns specifically for toy knitting. For this Panda, I recommend using Nako Sport Wool (a high-quality blend containing 25% Wool and 75% Acrylic; weight of 100g = 120m).
- Soft toy stuffing for filling your Panda.
- A yarn needle for sewing pieces together.
- A stitch holder to manage live stitches.
- 2 plastic safety eyes for a cute, friendly look.
- Black felt for additional facial features.
All rows in this pattern are worked in the round, which helps to create a seamless finish and eliminates the need for sewing up unsightly seams.
