PathFinder
This unique knitting pattern is a heartfelt tribute from my PathFinder series, specifically designed to honor my four incredible boys and their individual life journeys. This pattern holds a special place in my heart as it is dedicated to my oldest "child," who entered my life in 1999 at the age of 15. He has faced significant challenges, particularly in battling addiction, and is currently on his journey to discover his own path. We are by his side, providing love and support as he navigates through this crucial phase of his life.
Having him in our lives is truly a blessing. He has taught us that love transcends all boundaries and can be a powerful source of strength. As part of this journey, I encourage anyone struggling with addiction or connected to someone who is, to seek help from supportive communities. Narcotics Anonymous offers vital resources and meetings for those in need. You can locate a meeting for yourself or your loved ones by visiting www.na.org. For family members seeking support, Nar-Anon provides a compassionate space to share experiences and find understanding. Check out www.nar-anon.org to find a meeting near you.
Understanding and accepting the complexities of addiction is essential, as it fosters an environment where love can truly thrive. By supporting one another, we can help break the cycle and offer hope to those in need.
All proceeds from the sale of this knitting pattern are lovingly donated to [Helderberg Omgee][1] halfway house. This half-way house has served as a guiding light for my son, providing him with invaluable support and resources that we, as a family, could not offer alone. From counseling to stable living conditions, Helderberg Omgee has made a profound impact on his journey toward recovery. We are eternally grateful for the peaceful space and compassion they have extended to him.
