YARN: For this project, we recommend using Malabrigo Rios, a luxurious yarn made from 100% Merino Superwash. With 192 m (210 yds) per skein, you'll need 3 skeins in color A (sample shown in Black) and 2 skeins in color B (sample shown in Apple Green) to create your own Positive Attitude Shawl. In my personal sample, I used approximately 2.9 skeins of color A (resulting in 557 m / 609 yds) and 1.4 skeins of color B (totaling 269 m / 294 yds). Please remember that the yardage can vary based on individual knitting style, tension, as well as the specific yarn and needles used, so make sure to keep that in mind when planning your project.
NEEDLES: For the best results, a 5.0 mm / US 8 long circular needle is recommended, with a 5.5 mm / US 9 needle suggested for the bind-off section. However, feel free to use the needle size that helps you achieve the proper gauge for your yarn.
